Aquila is the largest of the three regions that make up the Western Kingdom with Aladar and Bowcourt and is the seat of the kingdom. It is divided into 13 counties and comprises hundreds of baronies.

It is also home to the Unified Western Church a powerful religious organisation popular throughout Western Alusia.

Duke of Aquila

The current ruler of Aquila is Herzog Albrecht.

The previous Duke was the late Duke Frederick III of Aquila, father to the Western King, and husband of Dulciena, Marquessa de Bowcourt.

Others of Note

Lady Catherine Stormguard is the late Duke's sister and Aunt to the King. She was forced to marry Blitzkrieg, Baron Stormguard, which marked the end of the war.
